Now in its twenty-first year, this community ensemble shares the rich heritage of Jewish music with diverse audiences through concerts, festivals, and participation in interfaith and multicultural programs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koleinu has been praised for its expressiveness and repertoire, and for the high musical standards it maintains as a non-audition chorus.&nbsp; The chorus performs a wide range of Jewish choral music, including liturgical, secular, contemporary, and traditional styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koleinu has collaborated with many local cantors and other musicians, appeared at the New England Holocaust Memorial and at the North American Jewish Choral Festival.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Koleinu has performed several times at the North American Jewish Choral Festival in New York, including a 2012 performance of a commissioned work, <em>Sound the Great Shofar<\/em>, by Osnat Netzer.&nbsp; To mark its 20th anniversary, Koleinu once again commissioned Netzer, and in spring of 2022, accompanied by <em>Ezekiel\u2019s Wheels Klezmer Band<\/em> and Hankus Netsky, gave the world premiere of <em>A Funkl Gleybik<\/em> (A Spark of Belief).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chorus has collaborated with many groups, including the Zamir Chorale of Boston,&nbsp;
